Asbestos is a common name for a group of naturally occurring fibrous minerals: Chrysotile, Amosite, Crocidolite, Tremolite, Anthophyllite, and Actinolite. Laboratory identifies all asbestos and non asbestos fibres and report them separately.
Our AIHA and ISO17025 accredited laboratory analyses asbestos by Polarizing Light Microscopy. The laboratory follows method EPA 600/R-93/116 (400 point count technique).
Sampling Instruction:
Safety: Wear proper asbestos-dust-respirator.
Sensitivity or Reporting Limit: 0.5% by weight.
Sample size: 1-10 g.
Shipping Container: double Ziploc bags, plastic or glass jar with airtight lid.
Shipping: Regular
Labelling: Label each sample container with unique sample ID.
