Product Description
The welding helmet with air sampling adapter is built to comply with OSHA technical manual for metal sampling (Directive Number: 08-05 (TED 01), Chapter VIII, Effective Date: 6/24/2008): “When sampling for welding fumes, the filter cassette must be placed inside the welding helmet to obtain an accurate measurement of the employee's exposure”. Sampling head is designed to be used with two piece standard 37 mm air sampling cassette as per NIOSH 0500, 7300, 7301 or any other appropriate method.
Adapter holds the standard 37mm air sampling cassette on the helmet within the worker’s breathing zone under the helmet. Unique design of the sampling head makes it virtually weightless and ads only 50 grams to the original helmet weight.
Sampler should be used with any standard sampling pump connected through 1/4 inch connector.
